Audi A1 EPC warning light - if this EPC warning symbol is illuminated on your Audi A1 it indicates a fault within the engine management module and should be diagnosed immediately. Audi A1 airbag warning light - if the airbag or SRS warning symbol lights up on your Audi A1 it indicates a fault within this system and needs to be diagnosed.
Once the fault has been found and fixed you can use this scanner to clear the fault codes and then remove the dash light. The chances are you will need a new ABS sensor. If you are a UK driver and you present your vehicle with the ABS light showing for an MOT it will fail, so you will need to fix the fault before you take it to the garage.
Audi A1 glow plugs heating warning light - if your vehicle is equipped with an automatic glow plug system. The indicator lamp lights up while the glow plugs are preheating. If the engine fails to start immediately, the glow plugs have not finished preheating. In this case, keep the clutch pedal depressed or keep your foot on the brake if your vehicle has an automatic gearbox until the engine starts.
Audi A1 coolant temperature warning light - if this coolant symbol illuminates on the dash of your Audi A1 it means that either the coolant level is too low, or the coolant temperature is too high. You should check your coolant levels, but only when the engine is switched off and has been stood for an hour to cool down after driving.
Top up your coolant if you need to. If the coolant level is correct there could be a problem with the radiator or radiator fan.
You should take the Audi A1 to a professional coolant expert, but your local garage should also be able to diagnose and repair correctly.
Audi A1 max engine spped rpm warning light - if this symbol is illuminated on your Audi A1 dashboard there is a malfunction in the engine management system.

Make sure that the engine speed does not exceed the speed displayed in the driver information system, for example when shifting down a gear. Keep the engine speed at about rpm. As a result of the increase in temperature, the soot in the filter will be burned off. The indicator lamp will go out once the cleaning process has been completed successfully. If the indicator lamp does not go out, drive to a qualified workshop without delay and have the fault rectified.
Audi A1 oil warning light - if this symbol is illuminated on your Audi A1 you should check your engine oil levels before you continue to drive. If you have checked your oil levels and they are within limits you should consider changing your oil level sensor which can fail. To be sure that the oil level sensor is faulty you should use a code scanner to check. If the battery warning light is RED, it means that the alternator is at fault and should be replaced. Audi A1 brake or ABS warning light - this brake symbol illuminated alone could mean that there not enough brake fluid in the tank and so you should check the levels and top up if required. Any ideas about the first? Can't find the fault codes on the Ross Tech Wiki. The compressor works fine, but not sure how to determine the number of flaps? Be interested in the loom and sensor. Are you saying it only works if I have one flap?
Well its certainly the pre fl unit, the only thing I changed was the switch panel. Where does the sensor reside? Any new info about that first fault code? Everything seems to be running fine and i did some logging of the AC compressor and it runs as it should. I can post the full fault code list as soon as i get the codes from the another laptop I googled it at length and could find very little. But I have had no problems so am no longer worried.
I did read it might be to do with the newness of the panel and it wouldn't occur if the FL panel had a part with an A suffix. But I have never tested this. Also i can't code the unit. VCDS displays an error and nothing happens. So first two codes are because the unit is too new for my car.
The third is for the missing air quality sensor and the last is because it is not coded. I tried to apply and codes but it doesn't accept those.Bulletin Number: A Bulletin Date: Component: engine and engine cooling Summary: This informational bulletin contains guidelines for figuring out why coolant marks are present around the coolant expansion tank cap.

In the overview, you will then get a list of the engine codes with the years of construction and engine capacity. If there is a match with other car makes and car models, these will also be shown in the overview.
The engine code finder is meant to help you find your own engine code based on the examples given by us, and is strictly informative. For many car parts, such as engines and cylinder headsit is important that you specify the correct motor code on your request.
The engine code is usually stamped somewhere into the engine block. You can search our database for engine codes which have been specified with requests in the past. There might just be a match which will help you find the engine code of your own vehicle. Then submit your car parts request or find car parts in the online stock using the correct engine code.

The text is a description of the part and failure mode. The letter and number combination in parentheses is the Component Identifier.
This is followed by elaborators describing the condition of the fault. The AutoScan function always uses Aggressive Mode. Keep in mind that many control modules are not aware of the actual date and time, so they may display bogus dates, just as they do with the factory scan tools.
As a rule of thumb, cars which were re-designed after will likely have some control modules that support it, and older designs will not. There's no harm in leaving this enabled in any case. However, un-checking it can make the results less cluttered in a scan which contains many fault codes. In vehicles that do not support Freeze Frame, that checkbox will not be present. One component of Freeze Frame data is the Fault Priority number as described below:.
Fault Frequency shows how many times the conditions that caused the fault have recurred, during all driving cycles. The counter can have values from 0 to It is incremented with each occurrence of the fault during all driving cycles. The Reset counter is a number that has been pre-assigned to each fault, with the number of problem-free driving cycles before the fault presumably clears itself.
Each time a driving cycle occurs, and the conditions sufficient to trigger the fault do NOT occur, then the reset counter should go down by one. So if you have a fault with a Reset Counter of 40, if the controller goes through a problem-free driving cycle then that number should go down to If your PC is not connected to a printer when this button is pressed, be sure to use Windows to set the printer to "Work Off-Line" first!
Once you have pressed the Copy Codes button, you may paste the results into the application of your choice, such as MS Word or Notepad. Some faults cannot be cleared such as internal processor faults and the control module may explicitly refuse or may just still display the fault after a clearing attempt.Bee iptv arabic
Be aware, clicking on Clear Codes does not fix the problem that caused the fault! DTCs should only be erased after correcting the condition s that caused them in the first place. Note: There is no way to erase individual DTCs while leaving others alone. This is not a limitation in VCDS. It's just the way the VAG protocols work. Note: In some cases, the ignition must be cycled after clearing codes but before performing certain functions such as Basic Settings.
